Trying to do art each time I have a full migraine, that visually represents how it feels. Each drawing is done while I still have the headache and use what ever art supplies I have available.
I was trying to show what it's like when the volume gets turned up on all of my seneses. During what doctors cutely call the Aura phase of a migraine my senses go into over load. TVs and stereos get louder, but no one has turned up the volume. Lights get brighter and colors become more vivid. Smells become nauseatingly intense. Most people and doctors will mistake this as a panic attack. The key difference is that if you aren't otherwise stressed out (besides the fact that you know you are getting a migraine), your blood pressure and pulse can stay in the normal range.
